Difficult Questions about the Internet / Uncomplicated Internet: A Computer Literacy Course for Older People

With the help of gaming mechanics, participants will learn about basic terms, digital security, and how to solve common problems when interacting with the internet space. Participants will work with browser interfaces, mail, and messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram) on computers using the Windows operating system. Sessions will cover key themes such as computer literacy, internet security, terminology (creating a personal dictionary of internet terms), verification and critique of myths associated with the media space, and artistic and educational practices that can be applied to the knowledge gained.
The program is designed for active participation. Each session will end with a quiz to reinforce the material studied and a small amount of homework. The course will also include a short artistic practice based on asemic writing. During the final session, participants will be able to share their experience with others through creating a podcast and making educational cards about computer literacy.
The course comprises four sessions, which will take place on Sunday mornings.
