Game session with Mikhail Maksimov creator of the video game The Tool

Дата:
September 18, 17:00–18:30
Объем:
3 minutes

The Tool is a video game developed by artist Mikhail Maksimov in which the player creates “endless equipment,” or increasingly complicated tools and combinations thereof, while ignoring not only the usual game logic, which implies that tools are needed to play through specific tests, but also the very principle of the consistency and finality of any game. The artist calls this project “a relaxing simulator of ongoing metamorphosis."

At Garage Computer Class, Maksimov will present a special version of the game and invite participants to play through the path of packing and naming things into concepts, having sensed all of the aspects of additive epistemology. Players will be able to reduce anxiety and work out and neutralize disturbing problems using the method of naming, gaining experience in using The Tool in philosophical, sacral-poetic, and everyday contexts.

HOW TO TAKE PART
