Playing the Game: A Game by Asya Volodina

Playing the Game is a role-playing game about a future where gamification is popular and applied to all areas of life. As well as entertaining people, at the end of the twenty-second century games are used for education, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and negotiation. The heroes of the game are a school class that has got as far as the beginning of the twenty-first century in history lessons.
Game participants will try on the roles of characters from the beginning of the twenty-first century and immerse themselves in an imaginary situation for several hours. The players’ bodies will become avatars (as happens with actors), while improvisation and chance will be responsible for the development of the story, just like in children's games.
RULES
1. During the game participants will discuss the present. We will try to create a safe space for everyone to feel on an equal footing. This is a game for those who are interested in thinking about contemporaneity.
2. The game is more about reflection than entertainment or competition. This is a game for those who like to immerse themselves in the game world.
